We had a crazy tailwind from Marfa to Alpine....we went from major desert land the past 4 days to rolling hills and mtns....with the wind, even climibing was easy so we were all smiles!

In the desert, cactus rule. The prickly pear are beautiful, ranging from green to magnificent purples.
Awesome tree in Big Bend
The Perry Mansion built for the owner of the mercury mines back in 1908 went into ruins after the area cleared. Kari Fullwood has since started a hotel inside these ruins that look over the Big Bend National Park. A highly recommended place to stay and spend some time!
We crossed the Pecos River during our windy ride from Dryden to Comstock!
