Mt Shavano and Mt Tabeguache

Came to Colorado with Katherine for a little mountain climbing, hiking and camping.  As Coloroado always provides ample opportunities for that, we decided to summit these two fourtneers (14,229ft + 14,155ft respectively)

Mt Shavano

Starting our accent as the sun rose!

At this point trees had disappeared, air was thin and the trail was about to get rocky!

Taking it all in!

To summit " Tab a wash" (Tabeguache) we had to decend the saddle from Shavano 600ft, reclimb 500ft to summit and then return the same way. AKA, we summited 3 times that day!

this is what Colorado looks like now!
