Last flight for Endeavour

Flight into LAX was delayed mid-flight.  The pilot says, “well folks, looks like we have to lap LAX for a bit, Endeavour is landing.”  Forty minutes later we land.  Pilot speaks again, “consider yourself lucky today, look out the left side of the aircraft and you will see shuttle Endeavour has just landed from it’s very last flight ever.”

Pretty-darn-cool!  Endeavour has been on 25 missions into space.  Logged just under 123 million miles in 4,671 orbits of the earth.  And now will be retired in a space museum somewhere in Southern California.
