Raining Gold

The air is now frosty in the mornings, warm in the afternoons and frozen in the escape of dark midnights.  Though the temperatures are dropping, sensory overload continues to rise amidst the fiery golden Aspens that make a glittery blanket sweeping over this valley, giving off lush contrasts to the pine forests that glaze the Rockies.

    We saw something similar–w/o mountains of course, yesterday driving in the country and around BE. It was like snowing colored snow, only in leaf form Fantastically beautiful here in sunny southern MN. jjq
